THE TRI-COUNTY MUSEUM & HISTORICAL SOCIETY ESTABLISHED THE MUSEUM

AS AN INTERACTIVE, COMMUNITY-BASED FACILITY TO BE USED AND ENJOYED BY ALL,

PROMOTING PRESERVATION AND APPRECIATION OF OUR HERITAGE IN NORTHWEST MISSOURI.

THE SOCIETY COLLECTS AND PRESERVES MATERIALS AND DOCUMENTS

WHICH ILLUSTRATE THAT HERITAGE, AND MAKES THEM AVAILABLE IN EXHIBITS,

PROGRAMS, AND EVENTS.  IT FOSTERS COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HISTORICAL

STUDY, RECOGNIZING THAT A COMMUNITY UNDERSTANDS ITS PAST AND SECURES IS FUTURE.

THE EXHIBITS REFLECT THE AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL CHARACTER OF THE AREA

DURING THE NINETEENTH THROUGH TWENTIETH CENTURIES.

FARM IMPLEMENTS, A GENERAL STORE, FARM KITCHEN, SODA FOUNTAIN, AND AN ELECTRIC CAR

ARE JUST A FEW OF THE COLLECTIONS OF ANTIQUE THEMES AND SIGNIFICANCE THAT CAN BE SEEN!

REMEMBER HISTORY IS A BUNCH OF FUN TOO!!
